CSA Styles

Farmer's Choice
Our "Farmer's Choice Share" is the most traditional style of CSA available. Each week we will decide which produce will be offered and you'll be able to make yes or no decisions based on the options we present.  This is our most affordable share style.
Your Choice
Our "Your Choice Share" is the most unique style of CSA available.  Each week you will fully customize your share for the week by hand selecting your produce.  This is our most appealing share style and choices are  offered as "first come, first served."

CSA Sizes

Each of our CSA styles is offered as a Large, Medium, or Small share.  Our Large shares include a weekly assortment of 12-13 vegetables and herbs each week, our Medium shares are comprised of 8-10 vegetables and herbs each week, and our small shares include 4-6 vegetables and herbs per week.

CSA Frequency

Our shares are meant to be picked up each week for 30 weeks from Tuesday, May 18th - Tuesday, December 7th. We do however offer options for a medium bi-weekly share or to "Pay-As-You-Go" for both our Farmer's Choice and Your Choice CSA styles.  In the long run, these alternatives cost less upfront but more per week.

CSA Pricing and Payment

We offer our CSA shares in different styles and sizes to best accommodate your needs. Each of our shares requires a $100 non-refundable deposit which serves as your placeholder for the season. 25% of the total cost is due by the first pick-up on Tuesday, May 18th, with full payment due by Thursday, July 1st. We prefer payments to be made in cash, check, Venmo, PayPal, or through QuickBooks bank transfers, and can entertain credit card payments with an additional fee.  We hope to make our CSA affordable and accessible to everyone as we work to provide holistically nutritious and delicious food to our community.  If you find that our costs are prohibitive and will prevent you from being able to join our 2021 CSA, please connect with us to customize a sliding scale payment plan.

CSA Egg Share

We offer pasture-laid eggs all year long!  Our chickens are raised to free-range in open pasture each day from dawn until dusk and enjoy the space to walk, stretch, and even fly.  Eggs can be purchased for $6 per dozen for a 10 dozen flexible pick up Egg Share or a-la-carte for $6.50 per dozen.

CSA Add Ons

Pork
We raise heritage breed pigs throughout our woodlands and pasture.  The diversity of their diet and the active lifestyle that they live makes for a happy, nutrient-dense, and delicious cut of pork.  We offer whole hogs, half hogs, and bulk purchase pricing in addition to our a-la-carte cuts.

Bread
Our farmer, Michelle, takes weekly orders for organic-flour-based loaves of bread each week.
Orders are limited to 1 loaf per customer and often feature herbs grown on the farm.  Loaves can be purchased a-la-carte for $6.

Flowers
We grow flowers in our vegetable fields to embellish our natural ecosystem.  We plant flower species that support our pollinators, work to mitigate pests and add a pop of color to appease the eyes.  Our beautiful and creative arrangements can be purchased a-la-carte for $5 to $10 a bouquet from June through September.

We are farming on land that was once inhabited by the indigenous peoples of the Piscataway and Susquehannock tribes.  We recognize that this land was unjustly taken from them without their permission.  We hope our lives upon and care for this land will honor their legacy and wisdom in living harmoniously with this place.
